questions?
Maybe ORQ can help!
What’s ORQ?
ORQ [The Oracle of Random Quotes] is a new oracle created by artist Priscilla P. Stadler, drawing from the written texts of your choice. With the assistance of an ORQ listener, you choose the quotes and determine whether they are useful or appropriate for the answer(s) you are seeking. You are welcome to discuss it with the listener - or not.
In exchange for your reading, Priscilla requests that you permit your reading to be videotaped as part of her ORQ [The Oracle of Random Quotes] project.
ORQ “How to”
•Spend a few moments to think about the question you’d like to ask
•Tell the listener your question
•Concentrate on your question (listener will do the same)
•Open four or five sources and read the phrase or sentence you see first
•Read each one aloud so listener can record and read them back to you
•Does it make sense? Is it helpful?

So, Priscilla ORQ: We tried this. The question was: "What topping should I get on my frozen yogurt?" The source was a book called "Guyland" by Michael Kimmel. We opened to page 165. The first sentence read was: "Eminem's got credibility - he may be white, but he's the real deal, an authentic rapper, not just a fabricated product of white music producers like Vanilla Ice was."
Wow!!!!

Ha ha! Maybe the "effectiveness" of ORQ, if it has any, is determined by the openness of the oracle, or, in this case, their ability to do magic?
